Get educated, help the cause, and support Black developers and designers
Past events in the world related to systemic racism and the spread of injustice directed against Black Americans and Black people in general are just one part of the history of a corrupt modern society. Geo Controller is dedicated to all WordPress developers worldwide and is used by people of all races, nationalities, religious beliefs and skin colors. Therefore, we do not single out anyone, nor we anyone put that is superior above the other. These problems of racism affect our Geo Controller users and WordPress developers and therefore we invite you to join us in the use of your time, money and votes to confirm that Black lives matter.
There are many ways to be a part of this movement, and we’ve compiled a list of resources, advice, charities, and creators’ projects here as a starting point. We’ll continue to update it in the coming weeks, as we continue listening and learning from our community.
#BlackLivesMatter
George Floyd’s violent death was a breaking point — an all too familiar reminder that, for Black people, law enforcement doesn’t protect or save lives of Black people. They often threaten and take them.
We call for an end to the systemic racism that allows this culture of corruption to go unchecked and our lives to be taken.
We call for a national defunding of police. We demand investment in our communities and the resources to ensure Black people not only survive, but thrive. If you’re with us, add your name to the petition right now and help us spread the word.
