We are announcing a new update for Geo Controller to version 8.3.0!
This new version connects to our new API services that we built to enable better CDN and loading time.
Our old API services will be shut down on July 18 and sites that are on the old version of the plugin will not be able to use these services.
In this new version of plugin, we solve problems with cache, SEO redirects, we introduce new geo data, and the algorithms are adapted to the new version of WordPress, as well as support for most of the most popular plugins.
It is very important for us that you follow all the updates, there will not be any additional problems or sudden changes, everything should be smooth and without hiccups.
Since there is always a small possibility of problems, here are some tips on how to solve them yourself:
- After the update, if you have problems with some of the functionality, just disable the plugin and enable it again.
This is the most common solution to the problem because WordPress sometimes caches old data and does not load new data. - Review and save plugin settings again.
Sometimes it is necessary to review the plugin settings because we are constantly adding new settings or removing outdated ones and because of this it happens that you have to re-record your settings in order for the plugin to work properly.
