- Base currency
- The main currency your store uses for all transactions, pricing, and accounting. All price conversions start from this currency.
- Visitor currency
- The currency automatically detected from the visitor’s location (via IP geolocation) and displayed for their convenience. Can differ from the base currency.
- Accuracy radius
- The estimated range (in kilometers or miles) within which the detected location is considered accurate. Smaller numbers indicate more precise detection.
- Server cache
- A system that stores and serves a static version of your website’s pages instead of generating them dynamically for each visitor. Improves speed but can cause incorrect geo-based content if not configured properly.
- Geo tag
- A special placeholder provided by Geo Controller that outputs location-based data (such as country, city, IP, or currency) when placed in supported plugins, templates, or content areas.
